Glass Boys Automotive is a glass replacement, repair business located in Columbus, GA. We are family owned and we are growing. We are looking to hire a full-time Receptionists to help provide excellent customer service to our customers.
We offer paid time off and paid holidays.
Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Experience (preferred or required):
- High School Diploma required, and/or Associate’s degree preferred
- 2 – 4 years related office assistant experience required
- Working knowledge of social media and content marketing required
- Strong working knowledge of Google Docs/Suite and MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Give quotes for customers on the phone or in person at the Shop
- Book the customer in the calendar for their service appointment
- Order glass from vendors
- Help make sure that all glass for each delivery comes
- Return any glass that is not needed, or the customer did not come to pick up
- Keep front desk organized and office cleaned (and other shop areas like the restroom as needed)
- Help with bookkeeping as needed
- Take all payments and close drawer out each day according to procedures (if assigned)
- Organize and update vendor accounts and other operational accounts as needed
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager, Co-Owners with daily tasks
- Effectively and professionally answers and returns calls, emails, and mail communications both internally and externally
- Respond to phone calls and e-mails in a timely fashion
- Provide excellent customer service
- Organize all files
- Perform data entry
- Schedule meetings and/or calendar appointments for all customers for glass replacement/repair
- Help marketing efforts when not on phone or doing other needed tasks
- Help call around to get more customers (marketing efforts)
- Manage social media account to deploy content
- Repurposing content & dripping emails to our existing database – email marketing
- Opening and organizing mail
- Manage our business software, keep organized and run reports
- Shop and run errands for office
- Set-up and lead tech endeavors with Zoom, Google Drive and Calendar
- Ship/mail items via US Post Office and/or FedEx, UPS
- Miscellaneous help with printing, archiving, organizing, decorating, running errands, editing documents, developing presentations, etc.
- Maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the office / kitchen areas
- Follow and adhere to Company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Willing to learn the industry and help us maintain and grow our marketplace position
- Attend business meetings and trainings as required
- Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
