Job title: Architectural Millwork - Senior Estimator

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Architectural Millwork Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for assessing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, conducting material takeoffs, reviewing blueprints, and collaborating with project managers and clients.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in OST, Plan Swift, Excel & MS Word for accurate estimation and documentation.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and decipher plans and specifications for detailed takeoffs for both shop fabrication and field installation.
• Experience collaborating closely with General Contractors/Construction Managers (GC/CM's) on pricing and budgets.
• Familiarity with commercial projects and high-end residential construction.
• Knowledgeable about materials such as plastic laminate, wood veneer, solid surface, and finishing techniques.
• Capable of reviewing site conditions, logistics, schedules, scopes, exhibits, etc., to inform accurate estimations.
• Skilled in completing bid forms and generating proposals efficiently.
• Proficiency in analyzing documents to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering solutions.
• Ability to chair handoff meetings to the engineering department and project managers effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Motivated and self-driven to meet project deadlines and deliver accurate estimates.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet project requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.88 - $25.15 per hour
