Auditing Supervisor supervises the day-to-day execution of a comprehensive enterprise-wide internal auditing strategy, function, and practice adhering to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Supports auditing teams with resources, training, expertise, and problem-solving help to complete auditing projects. Being an Auditing Supervisor uses auditing governance frameworks and procedures to plan and manage the auditing schedules, projects, teams, and tasks required to meet defined objectives. Engages with other functions across the enterprise, like risk, finance, information technology, and security, to facilitate audits. Additionally, Auditing Supervisor prepares audit reports, documentation, and recommendations for enhanced controls or processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require or be working towards a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Typically reports to a manager. The Auditing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Auditing Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Overview

     

    The Corporate Quality and Auditing Lead is responsible for managing Noblis quality and compliance requirements. This includes maintaining the company's existing certifications and credentials from the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Development.  This role will also coordinate and manage the corporate compliance policies.  The current list of standards include:

    • ISO9001:2015
    • ISO 20000-1:2018
    • ISO 27001:2022
    • CMMI (v3.0) - Level 3

     

    Specific Responsibilities:

     

    Quality Management

    • Owns organizational responsibility for satisfying all quality-related requirements and ensuring successful maintenance of quality certifications.
    • Works directly with senior leaders throughout Noblis to establish quality objectives and plans.
    • Leads or supports all quality-related initiatives throughout Noblis, as appropriate.
    • Responsible for the oversight of the integrated QMS (Quality Management System).
    • Administer the Process Asset Library by maintaining the configuration of controlled quality documentation.
    • Attend supporting meetings and evaluate business processes' adherence to the QMS and collect necessary evidence.
    • Develop, implement, and communicate quality standards, processes, and procedures to ensure ISO 9001, CMMC and CMMI compliance in conjunction with corporate quality objectives.
    • Lead and perform analysis of quality metrics and analytics outputs to identify key issues, trends, and potential root causes that point to improvement opportunities.
    • Analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations to the Senior Management team about process/improvements, process controls, data analysis, continuous improvement, corrective actions, and other topics as requested.
    • Demonstrate track record in monitoring KPIs, staying abreast of industry trends, and leading projects to enhance policy management infrastructure and drive operational effectiveness.
    • Make recommendations, plans, and suggestions that promote continuous improvement throughout the organization.  Optimize policy creation, review, and dissemination processes for efficiency and compliance, utilizing policy management software and systems.

    Auditing Support:

    • Perform and coordinate internal program audits as required by ISO certifications.
    • Prepare and train program team members on the processes and requirements for the internal and external audits.
    • Coordinate the schedules for Noblis program team members who will support the internal and external audits.
    • Schedule, respond, and coordinate external annual audits with registrars, appraisers, and regulatory agencies.
    • Track, respond and facilitate the resolution and closure of any corrective action requests, including internal and customer-driven corrective actions.
    • Ensure and track the annual reviews of policies that are conducted by each program team/owning area.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional experience, including demonstrated proficiency/experience in Quality Control/Management and/or auditing experience.
    • ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor certified.
    • Knowledge and experience applying project management best practices to drive improvements in project consistency and performance.
    • Knowledge and experience with quality management principles and techniques.
    • Ability to analyze, define, improve, and document business processes.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy

    Note: While this position allows for telework, in-person attendance for certification audits, as as other corporate-required meetings, is mandatory.  Ability to travel to the Reston, Virginia headquarters as needed is required.

     

     

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience with SharePoint, Office365, and QMS.
    • Other certifications or specialized training related to quality management systems - ISO standards – 9001, 20000 and 27000 and CMMI v3.0 DEV Level 3.
    • Good understanding of CMMI standards v3.0 Model.
    • ISO 20000-1 Internal/Lead Auditor certified.
    • ISO 27001 Internal/Lead Auditor certified.
    • Experience working with federal government contractors.
    • Experience working with and presenting to senior-level management teams.
    • Understanding of DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and the capabilities within the DORA capability catalog is encouraged.
    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to align policies with organizational goals and regulatory requirements, ensuring clarity and consistency.

    Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

    USD $74,500.00 - USD $130,400.00 /Yr.
