The Internal Audit Department is seeking individuals to assist Internal Auditors in performing operational, compliance, financial, and
investigative audits.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in performing audit and investigative procedures in accordance with professional standards.
Generating reports and data from UNM systems for Internal Audit purposes.
Assist in evaluating audit and investigation findings. Assist in drafting the results of audit and investigation work and deliverables.
The department's audits and investigations are diversified and present an ideal opportunity for on the job experience.

Equivalencies not found for this position

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours
do not count).

REQUIRED ABILITIES:
Juniors, seniors and graduate students majoring in Accounting, Finance or any business related field.
Must sign confidentiality agreement.
Must attend training.
Must commit up to 20 hours a week for 2 semesters.
Grade Point Average: 3.0 or higher.
Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours (undergraduate) or 5 credit hours
(graduate) in a degree-seeking program.
