We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. Auditing positions are eligible for our hybrid remote work program which allows employees to work remotely two days a week. The three days in the office will be worked in our Lending Center in Rockville, MD office.

Qualifications

Requirements vary for specific positions and generally seek the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree accounting, business management, finance, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of accounting, internal audit, risk management or compliance role in a professional firm or business.
• Skills to perform detailed research, to assess large amounts of data and to derive key aspects.
• Proficient in MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to meet workpaper quality and timely delivery standards.
• Address Auditor-In-Charge, review comments timely and appropriately.
• Develop audit issues and draft reports.
• Sound verbal and written communication skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferences:

• Master’s Degree accounting, business management, finance, or related field (some more advanced positions require degrees).
• Certifications such as CPA, CIA or CFE, ACAMS or CRCM, CISA (some more advanced positions require d certifications).
• Knowledge of audit methodologies and developing key internal audit deliverables including process flows and narratives, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
• Ability to execute IT audits and lead certain audits with minimal supervision required for IT auditing roles.
• Firm understanding of IT risks Familiarity with a variety of technologies, operating systems, databases, and reporting tools for IT auditing roles.
• Understanding of commonly used internal control and information technology frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ITIL, FFIEC etc., for IT auditing roles.
