The Fargo Youth Hockey Association is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the non-profit to a newfound level of excellence.
Founded in 1988, the Fargo Youth Hockey Association (FYHA) has been an integral part of the community for more than 36 years and became the parent organization for the Fargo Freeze in 2011. The mission of the FYHA is to promote, develop and administer a youth hockey program by providing an environment that makes hockey fun, offering high quality coaching, ice time for skill development and exposure to advanced competition opportunities.
In support of Fargo Youth Hockey Association’s mission and vision, the Executive Director will serve as the face and the voice of FYHA and is responsible for overseeing the financial wealth and the administration and operation of the organization’s strategic plan. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and successfully executing fundraising strategies, leverage the FYHA inventory for advertising and sponsorship, ensure quality programs/events, serve as chief culture-building representative and will be instrumental in developing healthy communication and connection within FYHA and the community. The Executive Director will report directly to the President of the FYHA Board of Directors.
This is a full-time, exempt position and it is expected the incumbent will either reside in the Fargo-Moorhead area, or commit to relocating to the Fargo-Moorhead area. Compensation will be based on experience. Medical benefits and an employer-contribution IRA plan are included in the compensation package. The executive director will also be supplied with a computer and phone stipend.
