Audiologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of hearing, balance, and ear disorders. Administers and interprets a variety of tests, such as air and bone conduction, speech reception, and discrimination tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech. Being an Audiologist evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals. Reviews charts, test results, and other patient data to understand issues and develop treatment programs to alleviate symptoms and treat disorders. Additionally, Audiologist monitors and evaluates treatment progress and adjusts care plan as necessary. Programs, fits, and adjusts hearing aids for customers. May require Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in some states. Requires a master's degree in audiology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Audiologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     This well-established practice is looking for a provider to perform a variety of responsibilities ranging from pediatrics to adults, cerumen management, comprehensive audiograms, balance exams, tinnitus management, amplification, and more! This is a brand-new facility with multiple treatment rooms and an experienced team of support staff.

    Qualifications and Job Details:
     
    • Full-time, Monday-Thursday, professional daytime hours and short-day Fridays!
    • Responsibilities revolve around routine diagnostics, patient care, and amplification.
    • Primary focus will be to educate and counsel patients on site, through health fairs, at community events, and educational seminars.
