Audiologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of hearing, balance, and ear disorders. Administers and interprets a variety of tests, such as air and bone conduction, speech reception, and discrimination tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech. Being an Audiologist evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals. Reviews charts, test results, and other patient data to understand issues and develop treatment programs to alleviate symptoms and treat disorders. Additionally, Audiologist monitors and evaluates treatment progress and adjusts care plan as necessary. Programs, fits, and adjusts hearing aids for customers. May require Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in some states. Requires a master's degree in audiology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Audiologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.   • Audiologist Job Summary:

    We are seeking an enthusiastic full time Audiologist to join our team at Chesapeake ENT, which is a division of Chesapeake Specialty Care. This position rotates between up to 3 office locations: Owings Mills, Westminster, and/or Rosedale. Travel to different locations is required. Our busy ENT practice is comprised of 6 audiologists, 7 ENTs, 3 PAs, and 1 PT.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Diagnostic audiometric evaluations for the entire age range.
    • Adult and pediatric hearing aids and osseointegrated solutions.
    • Administrative duties, such as answer phones and take messages.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Preferred Skills/Abilities:

    • Experience with Oticon, Phonak, and Cochlear Baha/Osia preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work in multiple office locations. Travel between several offices is required.

    Education/Licensure:

    • Masters or Doctorate in Audiology required.
    • Eligibility for Maryland licensure required.
