Audio Visual Technician responsibilities include installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment. Performs production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking. Being an Audio Visual Technician coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings. Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues. Additionally, Audio Visual Technician may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Audio Visual rep. (at least 3 years of experience); assistance with connections, troubleshooting and repair.
You will be Taking inventory of supplies and equipment within conference rooms, assisting with AV events, changing lamps from projector, data entry, first responder for basic repair, troubleshoot, and customer service.
Standing, lifting and walking are involved but not anything extensive. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs anything heavier will have team lift.
Dress code is business casual and comfortable shoes.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
Typically Required:
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires minimum of 3 years of related experience; 5 years is preferred.

- Ability to use, calibrate and troubleshoot office and complex technical equipment,

- Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs. (cases of paper, etc.)
