Seeking candidate for full-time position of Audiovisual Consultant and System Design Engineer.
Some of the responsibilities of the Audiovisual Consultant are as follows:
1. assisting with room design including projection and viewing geometry and architectural acoustics;
2. designing audio, video, and projection systems;
3. preparing equipment lists and budgets;
4. writing and producing system specifications;
5. modeling sound systems in acoustic design software;
6. producing system schematics (using AutoCAD);
7. producing equipment installation drawings (using AutoCAD);
8. coordinating with the architect and other consultants; and
9. keeping informed about current trends in audiovisual equipment.
We are an audiovisual consulting firm in Litchfield County Connecticut. We provide technical assistance for the design of spaces including auditoriums, lecture halls, meeting rooms, boardrooms, motion picture theaters, and production studios. We assist the architect with the physical design of the space, and we design and specify the audiovisual systems that will be installed in it.
