Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fast Lab Tech seeks a highly qualified and experienced Counsel to join our legal team. You will play a key role in representing the organization in litigation matters, providing strategic legal advice, and managing complex legal issues. This Full Time position requires a skilled attorney with deep expertise in healthcare law and significant litigation experience presenting healthcare providers in court, and in administrative and other legal proceedings. We are looking for an aggressive action-oriented individual who will both pursue the company’s interests and protect the organization's interests in defensive and offensive legal matters.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies in collaboration with senior management and counsel.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs, pleadings, and other court documents.
Represent the organization in all manner of legal disputes before State and Federal Courts, as well as in Administrative proceedings.
Negotiate settlements and other resolutions to litigation matters.
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues impacting the organization.
Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and policies.
Advise management on legal risks and opportunities.
Manage and assist with internal and external investigations involving payers, insurance, fraud, or compliance issues.
Respond to government inquiries and investigations from regulatory agencies and insurance companies.
Advise the organization on potential legal risks and strategies for mitigation.
Provide legal advice on a wide range of healthcare law issues, including medical malpractice, contract disputes, HIPAA compliance, and Accounts Receivables matters.
Stay current on evolving federal and state healthcare laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
