    The Director of Learning and Development will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of our learning strategies and programs across the organization. Their responsibilities revolve around identifying areas that need improvement, coordinating with departments and staff, producing various training programs that will sharpen individual skills and departmental understanding, as well as crafting skills assessment activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving successful learning outcomes and a passion for developing talent at all levels of an organization.

    Working Environment/Physical Requirements:

    • General office environment
    • Hybrid / Remote work
    • Typing, sitting, standing, walking, some light lifting
    • Use of basic office equipment such as PC, fax, printer, copier, phone
    • Occasional travel, normally short trips, and training roll-outs
    • Ability to travel up to 50%

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and execution of the learning and development strategy to support the company's strategic goals and enhance its competitive edge, retention, and career path development for leadership roles.
    • Design, implement, and assess training programs that are effective, scalable, and engaging, incorporating the latest in modern learning theories and instructional design principles.

    •Utilizing a mix of modules, content, tool building, process and workflow design, you will ensure that barriers of understanding are removed to create a cohesive and comprehensive understanding of roles and priorities that will aid in the success of our people and cross-functional staffs.

    • Manage the learning and development budget and tools, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.
    • Partner with leadership to identify training needs and develop customized programs to address these needs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
    • Oversee the selection and management of external training providers and consultants to ensure the delivery of high-quality training solutions. And a diverse array assortment to engage all levels of the org.
    • Implement metrics and evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed to ensure they meet organizational objectives and employee needs. Update leadership regularly on training initiatives, completion, and the value ad to departmental understanding.
    • Champion the use of technology in learning, including e-learning platforms, to enhance accessibility and engagement of training programs.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of learning and development professionals when/where applicable, setting high standards and encouraging innovation within the team.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Operations or a related field.
    • A minimum of 8 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing a team.
    • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement strategic learning and development initiatives that drive performance and achieve results.
    • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement strategic learning and development initiatives for a largely remote workforce.
    • Experience in developing robust leadership development programs.
    • Strong knowledge of current trends, technologies, and best practices in eLearning, adult learning, and instructional design.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire a diverse workforce.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and measure the impact of training initiatives.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to align learning and development strategies with business goals. • Experience in guiding leadership and project team members through a Change Management approach for implementation of new programs
    • Excellent presentation/facilitation skills.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
