Athletic Trainer treats and prevents athletic injuries by developing therapies to reduce pain and improve mobility under the direction of a physician. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Being an Athletic Trainer may require state license to practice. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in exercise science, sports science or equivalent. Additionally, Athletic Trainer typically requires certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Athletic Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Job Description
Location: Bentworth High School and Scenery Hill WPT clinic
Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekend commitments except for rare occasions like playoff games. 2pm to end of game/practice schedule. *YOU WILL HAVE RELIEF ON SOME WEEKNIGHTS, WITH COVERAGE BEING OFFSET BY WILLING PHYSICAL THERAPISTS!
