Job Summary: As a Health Technician - Therapy and Treatment at Club Five, you will be an essential member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering therapies and treatments as outlined in the summary page. Your duties will include accurately documenting patient visits in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring correct billing codes for insurance and cash visits, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will also act as a liaison between patients and practitioners, advocating for patients' needs and facilitating open communication. Continual education on all therapies and treatments offered at Club5 will be crucial to stay updated on best practices and provide optimal care. Additionally, meeting patient appointments targets per month will contribute to the success of our healthcare department.

Responsibilities:

• Therapy and Treatment Delivery: Perform therapies and treatments in Club5, adhering to established protocols and providing compassionate care to patients.
• Communication with Practitioners: Maintain effective and timely communication with practitioners to discuss any changes or updates required for patients' treatment plans.
• EMR Documentation: Accurately record patient visits, treatment details, and progress notes in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Billing and Coding: Insert appropriate CPT codes for insurance and cash visits following billing guidelines and regulations.
• Workspace Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the therapy workstation after each patient therapy session, maintaining a hygienic and organized environment. Adhere to the 5S regulations in the facility
• Patient Follow-ups and Re-evaluations: Facilitate communication with practitioners to schedule monthly re-evaluations and follow-up patient visits for ongoing treatment management.
• Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' well-being, communicating their needs and progress effectively with practitioners and other team members.
• Laundry and Towel Management: Ensure daily laundry is done, and towels are appropriately stacked before leaving and starting the workday, maintaining a professional appearance.
• Continuing Education: Engage in ongoing education to stay informed about the latest therapies and treatments offered at Club5 and to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
• Appointment Targets: Meet a minimum of assigned target patient appointments per month to contribute to the successful operation of the therapy and treatment department. Monthly targets will be communicated by the practice manager at the start of the financial year.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all therapy equipment is turned off before leaving the work premises and clean and maintain all equipment at the end of the workday.

Requirements:

• Degree in Physical therapy assistant, Occupational therapy assistant or massage therapy, Athletic Trainer, Medical Assistant, or Nurse.
• Valid certification or license as a therapist in respective discipline
• Previous experience in a healthcare or wellness setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with practitioners and patients.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities for accurate documentation and workspace management.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to delivering therapies and treatments.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to meet patient appointment targets while maintaining high-quality care.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
