Athletic Trainer Assistant - Higher Ed. jobs in Arkansas

Southern Arkansas University is seeking applicants for an Assistant Athletic Trainer position. Southern Arkansas University is a highly competitive member of the Great American Conference (NCAA Division II.)

• Duties : Assist the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of the Athletic Training department; provide medical coverage for athletic teams as assigned;
• attend practices, and attend both home and away competitions as necessary; assist with inventory management; assist with administration of the in-house drug testing program;

supervise athletic training / work-study students and other duties as assigned.

BOC Certification required; Arkansas State Athletic Trainers License or eligible; must be able to work independently, as well as part of the whole athletic training team.
