We are beginning our 55th year and are experiencing high-growth and expansion.Position Title: Electronics Assembly AssociatePosition Summary: Kimball Physics is currently seeking a full-time Assembly Associate to join our electronics team. This position is responsible for assembling systems and sub-assemblies to precise specifications. The applicant should be highly motivated with an ability to prioritize and work independently once trained.Responsibilities:
- Preparation of intricate components and use of small tools.
- Assembly of components per routers, drawings, and written procedures.
- Alignment of systems to meet specifications. Alignment of assemblies and in-process testing.
- Processing and final testing of assemblies. Preparation of assemblies for shipment with supervision or in conjunction with other Assembly Specialists.
- Performs various types of hand soldering, including surface mount and thru-hole.
- Utilizes strict attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- Self-directed and confident to sufficiently work unsupervised.
- May be required to help in other departments depending on workload.
Education and Experience:- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience preferred.

- Results-oriented and committed to quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Problem solving capabilities, with supervision as required.
- Adaptable, flexible and open-minded.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and planning and time management skills.

Working Conditions:- Works independently as well as collaboratively.
- Changing work demands, requiring flexibility.
- Sitting 80% of shift.
- 1st shift, full-time, flexible schedule.
