Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality music education to students of all ages and skill levels. Duties

• Develop and implement music lesson plans
• Teach students various music concepts, including music theory, composition, and performance techniques
• Provide individual and group instruction in a variety of musical instruments is a plus
• Plan and organize music performances, recitals, and concerts
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into interdisciplinary lessons
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance evaluations

Education

• minimum Bachelor's degree required

Skills

• Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and different musical genres
• Proficient in playing one or more musical instruments
• Excellent classroom management skills to effectively engage students in the learning process
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with different learning styles and abilities
• Knowledge of early childhood education or adult education principles is desirable
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week
