Position Summary
The Center for Cancer Cell Biology, Immunology, and Infection at the Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. New members of the Center will join a highly successful and collaborative group of investigators that apply diverse and innovative approaches to better understand mechanisms of inflammation, microbial pathogenesis, and the immune response to infection and cancer. The Center is particularly interested in applications from individuals with research interests in cancer immunology. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent, extramurally funded research program that complements and extends the Center’s current strengths in cancer, host-pathogen interactions, and immune-mediated diseases. Our university encourages and provides opportunities for collaboration with researchers in other Centers.
The successful applicant will have an academic appointment in the Discipline of Microbiology and Immunology where they will teach in the medical and graduate programs. They are also expected to mentor graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and other trainees as well as provide institutional service.
