Responsibilities
● Teach a range of Spanish language and literature courses, from the introductory to advanced levels● Serve as department chair● Supervise the department’s administrative assistant● Advise undergraduate students regarding their academic plans● Collaborate in departmental programming● Serve on University committee(s) as assigned● Contribute to an academic environment that actively seeks to increase inclusive excellence in the department and in the discipline

Experience
● Required: At least five years of experience teaching Spanish language and literature at the post-secondary level● Preferred: administrative experience, especially as a department chair
Education
Ph.D. in Spanish, Hispanic Language and Literatures, Hispanic Linguistics, or related field.
