Professor - Foreign Languages provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Foreign Languages typically reports to a department head. Provides strengths based case management services for families on campus. May provide off-campus services to assigned clients for limited time frames. Functions as a member of the Case Management Team and other teams as assigned. May be assigned to work the Helpline/Coordinated Assistance Database. May serve in an on-call after hours capacity to support campus residents.

Bachelor’s Degree in social work, family counseling, psychology or a related human services field with direct experience in the performance of the related duties at the VFW National Home (to be evaluated by the appointing authority). Appropriate certification or licensure in a human services related field preferred.
