The Department of Civil & Architectural Engineering and Construction Management (CAECM) at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a position as Assistant Professor (tenure-track) beginning August 2024. Candidates are sought with expertise in Structural Engineering. This is a full-time, 9-month, benefited position.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management includes 24 faculty members and serves approximately 440 students. At the undergraduate level we have ABET-accredited B.S. degrees in Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering, a B.S. degree in Construction Management, and a Certificate in Cadastral Surveying. The successful candidate will have access to a large-scale testing facility with a 2,400 sq. foot strong floor and 16 ft long by 18 ft tall strong wall. The lab is outfitted for robust structural testing operations with room to expand into materials engineering.
