Associate Producer - Web implements assigned areas of a web or e-commerce projects. Coordinates schedules with internal and external content and development teams. Being a Associate Producer - Web oversees the financial expenditures on certain aspects of the project when working with vendors during design. Consults with business users and content providers regarding technical design issues, requests for modifications, and problem resolution. Additionally, Associate Producer - Web may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Associate Producer - Web supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Associate Producer - Web typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Northwestern College is seeking applicants for a full-time multimedia producer to begin July 1. This is a full-time, 12-month position contributing to the efforts of the marketing & communications office.
Job responsibilities include producing videos for use in student recruitment and brand marketing; developing videos that highlight campus events and promote strategic institutional goals; and capturing photos for use on our website, social media and publications.
Preferred qualifications:
The multimedia producer will utilize Northwestern’s 400-square-foot studio, which is well-designed and equipped for capturing photos and video interviews. The studio includes video lights, strobes, softboxes and other lighting modifiers. The iMac Pro editing suite includes three video monitors and studio speakers. Camera gear consists of a Canon C200 cinema camera and Canon 5D Mark IV DSLR with multiple L-Series lenses.
