Associate Human Resources Director directs the human resources staff that implement and manage policies and programs that reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. Maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Being an Associate Human Resources Director oversees processes and programs that support employees and company operations, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. Administers an HRIS or other system to facilitate processes, provide data, and report on HR activity. Additionally, Associate Human Resources Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Associate Human Resources Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Associate Human Resources Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Position Summary:

    The Sports Complex Director is responsible for day-to-day logistics and management of operations and programming of the Sandhills Global Sports Complex. Responsibilities include site scheduling, staff supervision, financial management, equipment management, managing lease/license agreements, coordination with teams, and marketing.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Oversee, prepare, and monitor budget.
    • Establish partnerships and participation goals; develop and implement strategies to meet participation goals.
    • Report financial and participation numbers on a consistent and timely basis.
    • Directly supervise, hire, schedule, train, and evaluate staff.
    • Directly manage all aspects of planning and scheduling in the Complex, including outside rentals.
    • Manage relationships and serve as a point of contact within the community.
    • Oversee and manage programming, logistics, and enrollment for camps and clinics.
    • Plan, manage, and market programs, events, and facilities.
    • Manage contract preparations.
    • Establish work priorities, goals, objectives, and schedules for the department.
    • Market and develop new programs and events by promoting the Complex locally and statewide.

    Preferred Talents

    • Experience managing people.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience managing a complex, multi-pronged sports, and event facility.
    • Detail oriented with tasks and structures.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, required.
    • Preferred minimum experience of 5 years implementing and supervising sports programs, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
    • At least five (5) years of experience in leadership and operations.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
