Associate Human Resources Director directs the human resources staff that implement and manage policies and programs that reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. Maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Being an Associate Human Resources Director oversees processes and programs that support employees and company operations, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. Administers an HRIS or other system to facilitate processes, provide data, and report on HR activity. Additionally, Associate Human Resources Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Associate Human Resources Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Associate Human Resources Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • The Associate Director, Human Resources will be the primary People advisor in the Tampa Center. The AD-HR will implement all people-related outcomes and deliver people-centered initiatives impacting the business and employee experience. The role holder will oversee the Tampa Center People function and operations, including Recruitment and Mobility, Careers & Performance, Leadership & Learning and Systems, and Reporting; and translate and operationalize the Firm's People goals and strategies, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
    Responsibilities:

    • Provide expertise, advice, counsel, and coaching to the Executive Director and Center leadership on People goals and strategies, making them relevant to the location and aligning them with global strategy
    • Be recognized as a trusted advisor, work with global colleagues effectively, have strong influencing and problem-solving skills, and build strong relationships with the Center managers
    • Be a part of the Center’s People team and will work with that team, and others, to align the People strategy and initiatives with the Firm’s and Center’s strategic goals
    • Provide support to multiple functions within the Center and assist leaders in optimizing the performance of their teams and resolving issues
    • Lead core People processes for Tampa Center, including Learning, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and Recruiting
    • Leverage data to proactively identify and address talent issues that may impact the business, including attrition risk
    • Provide ongoing guidance to managers, including performance management, compensation, employee career pathing and development, and employee relations
    • Update and enhance relevant and agile People policies that guide people on appropriate conduct and behavior that results in a collaborative, diverse, inclusive, high-performing, and rewarding work environment
    • Anticipate and identify current and future people-related issues and gaps between the business needs and people systems/capabilities and partner with Tampa Center leadership to develop strategies to address them
    • Participate in and influence community/government relations to promote the Tampa Center brand to positively impact talent attraction and business results
    • Optimize operational effectiveness and efficiency of the People End-to-End Services function within Tampa Center (including Careers & Performance, Recruiting & Mobility, Leadership & Learning, HRIS support, and HR reporting), ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards
    • Manage operations and related financial budgeting for the Tampa Center People team based on requirements and trends, developing action plans, measuring results, and analyzing outcomes
    • Partner with NA People Leads to ensure implementation of aligned key People initiatives, sharing best practices, proactive identification of emerging business issues, and collaboration on the development of solutions
    • Lead the Tampa Center People team on crisis management situations and provide direction towards recovery; ensure business continuity planning
    Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree focusing on Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development, Management, or other related areas (MS/MA in HR or related discipline is preferred)
    • Significant relevant HR management experience; experience in HR Transformation and/or HR Shared Services in a professional services organization is preferred
    • Broad knowledge of HR practices, including talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, leadership development, coaching, employee relations, change management, organization effectiveness, and HR operations
    • Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders regarding HR strategies and issues and translate management decisions and strategies to the employees
    • Expertise in operational efficiency and financial planning as well as strong in project management and systemic thinking
    • Demonstrated skills in assessing market and organization trends and developing HR solutions
    • Will need to demonstrate knowledge and understanding and remain up to date on US labor laws and regulations
    • Strong coaching, counseling, and overall communication skills, and highly credible presentation skills
    • Sound judgment – the ability to assess risk and take appropriate actions
    • Ability to network and collaborate across the Firm
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate in unstructured environments
