Being an Associate Housing Director reviews and updates of all housing policies to ensure the safety of residents. May also help maintain an off-campus housing program. Primary Purpose :
In partnership with the greater Fairfield County Coordinated Access Network (CAN), New Reach provides supportive housing and rapid-rehousing case management services to assist individuals and families with exiting homelessness into permanent housing through the provision of housing supports and strategies.
The services are provided primarily to low-income individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the greater Danbury area.
The housing caseworker acts as the first point of contact to provide support and advocacy, housing counseling, and community linkages with the ultimate goal of housing stabilization.
Essential Functions :
Refer and support engagement in appropriate services to meet the household's needs.
Comply with the agency, funder, and statewide HUD HMIS standards.
Assist in program development and quality assurance activities as directed.
