Rivel’s growing investor communications division, StoryLign, is currently seeking a motivated Associate Director to work with clients to create, improve and expand their investor communications offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-growing division of the well-established Rivel organization. We work with clients on a broad spectrum of strategic investor communications work including investor days, earnings results, conference presentations and quarterly investor presentations used for NDRs and website analysis reviews.

This is a key role which requires someone who understands how investors think and how best to communicate a Company’s message and equity story. Our clients are global and feature across every industry so it will be important to demonstrate you can add value immediately by quickly getting up to speed on their story. Candidates will need to implement a creative flair in approaching the different types of communication materials, thinking about each client’s needs while looking for trends and crossovers. Attention to detail and being able to work independently are necessary.

In this role, you will be expected to lead client discussions and give the best advice as you proceed quickly through client deliverables. The role is client facing and highly visible, so a professional client approach is key as you are likely to be meeting with senior management from the outset. Strong communication and client engagement skills coupled with the ability to think on one’s feet will ensure success in this role.

The ideal candidate is someone who embraces working in a team environment and has 6 years working in Investor Relations. Experience as an IRO or Buyside or Sellside analyst would be an advantage. This role can be fully remote although working at our Westport CT office will be required from time to time.

The range of base compensation for this position is a minimum of $100,000 to a maximum of $120,000. Compensation for any particular employee in this position is adjusted based on skill, effort, responsibility, education, training, credentials, geographic location, working conditions and/or experience.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Analyze financial information, company-specific news, industry trends and broader news flow and share this knowledge as well as new ideas within the team
• Delve into research and materials and understand what is driving investor sentiment
• Simultaneously work across multiple projects and advance materials and deliverables
• Develop and recommend new approaches to support company-specific communication strategies
• Formulate and work with the Design team to illustrate and best capture financial concepts and new ideas
• Manage multiple client deliverables to tight deadlines
• Take sole responsibility for delivering quarterly client materials as needed
• Support Consultants in reviewing potential client prospects and opportunities to grow the business
• Alignment with and commitment to uphold Rivel’s core values
• Maintain processes and presentation best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 years' investor relations experience with a public company
• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Communications), CFA and/or MBA preferred
• Superior analytical and conceptual ability alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solutions driven individual with a continuous learning mindset
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects and competing priorities
• Motivated and quick learner who takes initiative while being organized, resourceful and detail oriented
• Problem solver who focuses on finding solutions and a path through seemingly challenging client situations
• Team player who can work easily alongside and with the existing team
• Knowledge and/or experience of Microsoft suite particularly PowerPoint, Capital IQ, Wrike and Salesforce are a plus
