The Associate General Counsel manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be an Associate General Counsel typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a general commercial and transactional attorney Document commercial transactions, including purchases and sales of goods and services, sponsorship arrangements, software license agreements, and mergers, acquisitions and divestitures Direct, evaluate and oversee the work of outside counsel to assure best and most efficient results JOB QUALIFICATIONS: J.D. from accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Missouri 3 years’ transactional experience in a law firm, a corporate legal department, or related organization.
