Associate Dean of Sciences jobs in Arizona
Associate Dean of Sciences assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of science. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Sciences provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Sciences typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Sciences typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various duties including materials handling, stock management, and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our warehouse operations.
Duties:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products
- Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform inventory counts and maintain stock records
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Utilize a warehouse management system (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with warehouse supervisor
Skills:
- Proficient in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders
- Knowledge of proper materials handling techniques
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock efficiently
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
