The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a full family law caseload simultaneously demonstrating a commitment to strong professional values and a genuine passion for assisting individuals navigating the complexities of the family court system. The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently to accomplish their tasks. The position requires the candidate to attend court in person in Maricopa County. Therefore, the ideal candidate should be based in Phoenix, Arizona, while remote work is also permitted.

Responsibilities:

• Handle family law matters including but not limited to dissolution of marriage, child custody establishment/modifications, child support and spousal maintenance.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide expert legal advice to clients
• Attend court hearings/mediation with clients.
• Advocate for clients while maintaining a compassionate approach, understanding the emotional challenges they may be facing.
• Utilize an evaluative approach to assess each case, understanding the nuances and complexities involved to help clients determine the best course of action.
• Provide strategic legal counsel that aligns with the client's objectives.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona and in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of family law experience is preferred. Those with litigation experience in other areas of law and/or any other relevant background may be considered.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and advocate for clients' interests.
• Experience with litigation procedures and courtroom advocacy.

Pay: $103,458.00 - $114,026.00 per year
