Associate Dean of Fine Arts jobs in Delaware
Associate Dean of Fine Arts assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Fine Arts provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Qualifications:- Degree in the area of Arts to be teaching preferred.
- Certification in the area of Arts to be teaching is preferred.
- Work with students attending grades 4-10 in a summer enrichment environment.
- Teach curriculum in your specialty, from preparation and planning until the programs close.
- Attend staff meetings as part of the daily activities.
- Submit an end-of-session report to the Coordinator of Fine Arts Institute, which is a summation report to include suggestions for improvement, etc.
