Associate Dean of Education assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of education. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Education provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Education typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. What You’ll Do
NPFE seeks GSRP Associate Teachers to support the implementation of positive and impactful instruction in a PreK setting. In partnership with Lead Teachers, Associate teachers will deliver instruction using our PreK curriculum, establish strong relationships with students, families and co-workers, and ensure that their students are prepared for kindergarten in a safe and nurturing environment.
An Associates Degree (AA) in early childhood education or child development or equivalent; and/OR
Classroom CDA credentials (Early Childhood)
Duties & Responsibilities
Works under the oversight of and in partnership with the classroom Lead Teacher as part of a teaching team
Helps to facilitate the daily routine in the classroom, delivering lessons and working with students
Become knowledgeable of and implements the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold
Establishes a positive relationship with all co-workers and parents
Adheres to all licensing and GSRP requirements
Supports the classroom team members and the district team as needed
Ancillary duties as needed or assigned
