Associate Dean of Education assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of education. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Education provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Education typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. INTAKE Associate:
The NRAE Intake Associate assists with student registration, test scheduling and administration of the
student intake and testing process. This can include proctoring, overseeing proctors, intake interviews,
follow-up and data entry in coordination with the Director and/or Program Facilitator
Duties will include
? Programming, Intake and Assessment
o Collaborates directly with Program Facilitator
o Assists with the intake process with each student including filling out all registration
paperwork with students
o Assist with student enrollments and CASAS assessments onsite, off-site and remotely
o Follow up for students that are no shows for registration or testing
o Assist with the scheduling and administration of the testing program
? Training and Test Data
o Train and monitor test proctors
o Ensure the testing center functions properly and is secure (testing materials, faculty
instructions, headphones, computer programs, etc. are on hand and working).
o Knowledge of and ability to proctor CASAS e-Test
o Train for and run Tops Pro Reports
o Send TopsPro reports to Program Leaders/teachers/ school counselor and career
developer as appropriate
? Proctoring and Data Input
o Obtain CASAS certificate for Test Proctor and TopsPro
o Ability to fill in as a proctor when necessary
o Maintain confidentiality and security of all testing materials, test logs, and other test
documents.
o Return testing results to the appropriate staff
o Data inputting into LACES database
? Testing Center Oversight
o Monitor to ensure prevention of cheating
o Oversee to ensure that testing center rules are followed
o Positively and successfully works as a team player
? Additional duties as assigned by the Director
Qualifications: Minimum qualification Associates Degree.
Prefer prior experience in Adult Education and/or prior experience using skills required for this job.
Must have ability to work in Microsoft Suite and in Google applications and have data entry experience
Flexible, willing to work daytime and evenings, and travel to satellite programs
Bi-lingual preferred (Creole, Spanish, French, and Chinese)
