Overview
Enavate is seeking a visionary and accomplished Chief Growth Officer to be responsible for growing our $100M company to $500M in the next five years through a combination of organic and M&A strategies. You will play a critical role in developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies to drive revenue, optimize sales performance and enhance the Enavate brand. As a member of the executive team, you will lead a high-performing marketing and sales team, collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve aggressive growth targets.
The Chief Growth Officer is a key leadership position that requires a strong focus on sales and marketing expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership skills. The Chief Growth Officer will be responsible for Marketing (New clients, existing clients, partners and brand), sales to new clients, support revenue growth in the existing client base, and Enavate’s Microsoft strategy which includes our alliance with Microsoft).
Key Responsibilities
Your day will consist of:
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team. Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to formulate a comprehensive growth strategy that encompasses both marketing and sales initiatives. Set ambitious goals and establish performance metrics to evaluate the success of the growth strategy.
- Marketing-Led Transformation: Drive the transformation of our organization into a marketing-led company by advocating for data-driven decision-making, customer-centricity, and the integration of new technologies into marketing and sales processes.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and processes to drive revenue growth with the focus on subscription. Identify target markets, client segments, and sales channels to optimize sales performance. Set ambitious sales targets and lead the marketing and sales team in achieving and exceeding them.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and implement effective client acquisition strategies to expand the client base.
- Sales Enablement: Ensure the sales and marketing teams have the necessary tools, training, and resources to excel in their roles. Oversee the development of sales collateral, playbooks, and training programs to enhance sales effectiveness and productivity.
- Sales Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure sales performance including lead conversions, opportunity management, win/loss ratios and more. Implement robust sales and marketing analytics and reporting mechanisms to provide actionable insights to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Data-driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and market research to gain insights into customer behavior, market trends, and competitive positioning. Leverage this information to make data-driven decisions and refine sales and marketing strategies for maximum impact.
- Partnership and Channel Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that can drive sales growth. Collaborate with channel partners and resellers to expand market reach and increase revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
Here is what it takes to be successful in the role:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable. Proven experience in senior leadership roles, preferably as a Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Growth Officer, Chief Sales Officer, or Vice President of Sales and Marketing in the IT or Consulting industry, with a track record of driving significant revenue growth
- Sales and Marketing Expertise: Extensive experience in developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies. Deep understanding of sales funnel optimization, lead generation, conversion, and customer retention techniques. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, SEO, and marketing automation tools
- Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable sales and marketing plans. Proven track record of identifying growth opportunities and developing innovative strategies to capitalize on them
- Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales and marketing team. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships internally and externally
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, performance measurement, and market research. Ability to leverage data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Experience with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the industry or market segment in which the company operates. Familiarity with emerging trends, technologies, and customer needs that impact sales and marketing strategies
- Results-oriented Mindset: Proactive and results-driven approach, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
