This role offers the chance to contribute to the quality and safety of patient care while leading a team of skilled professionals.

    JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

    As the Laboratory Director, you will oversee all aspects of laboratory operations, ensuring the quality and quantity of work performed across various areas. Your responsibilities will include specimen collection, laboratory testing, and technical development within your areas of expertise. You will also play a key role in integrating new technologies and systems into our client's laboratory practices.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    MINIMUM EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related Health Science Specialty
    • Meets CLIA requirements for General Supervisor

    PREFERRED EDUCATION:

    • Master's Degree in Allied Health Specialty or Health Administration/Business

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist, with progressive supervisory/management experience in a primary care facility

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Prior experience as a Laboratory Director

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:

    • Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent (No annual renewals required once certified)

    PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:

    • Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent
