Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Sociology typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks.     The Department of Sociology () in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences will be making one tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor with an anticipated start date of Fall 2024. We seek candidates who use quantitative methodologies and are open to area of specialization. A doctoral degree is required by the time of appointment. The search committee is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.

    The annual base salary range for this position is $104,500 - $109,800.
