Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Sociology typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. This teaching opportunity is expected to begin Fall, 2024 on our Manchester, NH campus and you will report to our Associate Dean of SASE. Courses will be offered during the day and late afternoons on weekdays. #LI-Onsite Our sociology major is distinguished by an emphasis on experiential learning and internships as high impact education practices. In sociology, SNHU aims to blend the traditional, experiential, and digital learning platforms to explore social and cultural patterns that address the question "How Do We Live—Together"—tying sociological knowledge to students lives, needs, and interests in today's society.
