Healing Path Psychology is seeking a part-time receptionist (20 hours per week)

Summary:

Part-time receptionist needed to take incoming calls, set up new patient appointments and profiles in our EMR, verify insurance benefits, manage schedules, update charts, collect payment from patients and other general office tasks. This position requires both being able to follow systematic procedures, as well as having a positive, warm approach to interacting with clients and employees.

Job Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

• Screening patients and setting up new client profiles
• Following up on new patient inquiries within 24 hours
• Verifying and entering insurance benefit information
• Collecting payments from patients
• Entering payments from insurance companies into our practice management system
• Ensuring client consent forms and profiles are complete
• Preparing professional documents and correspondence
• Periodic management of social media and marketing
• Perform other office management and administrative duties as needed
• Daily communication with other administrative staff

Requirements:

• Courteous, friendly, helpful personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good computer skills
• 1 year of previous experience in a healthcare setting or mental health field preferred
• Some college preferred
