Assoc. Professor - Psychology teaches courses in the discipline area of psychology. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Psychology provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Psychology typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Major Responsibilities: Provides quality instruction and career advisement to all students. Responsible for maintaining grades and for the development of course objectives, outline, syllabi, and course competencies.
Schedule: Morning schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 12:30pm or Evening schedule: Monday to Thursday 5:30pm to 10:00pm
Education / Experience Requirements:
Required: Doctor Degree in Psychology
Minimum of three (3) years of teaching in higher educationor
