Michigan Milk Producers Association is actively interviewing for a D365 Supply Chain Business Analyst to join our Finance department in our Novi, MI Headquarters. The focus for this role will be to document current financial reporting practices (with workflow); collect business requirements for future state; and complete a gap analysis. As a Business Analyst, you will also develop report requirements (financial, analytical, and statistical) and create reports using financial report writer and Power BI. Additionally, this role supports maintenance and improvements of the financial system, troubleshooting associated reports and dashboards, and knowledge transfer/end-user training for the business.

The Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) – established in 1916 – is a dairy farmer-owned and operated milk marketing cooperative and dairy processor. As the 10th largest dairy cooperative in the U.S., MMPA serves dairy farmers throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana.

In addition to our Middlebury Cheese Company, and Superior Dairy, MMPA operates two SQF Level 3 dairy ingredient plants in Michigan. Products made at MMPA’s plants include fluid milk, cheese, ultra-filtered milk, ice cream, butter, nonfat dry milk, cream, and condensed skim milk.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with consultants, Operations, Finance and other business partners to gather requirements and design business processes and operational reports in support of the new Financial Systems.
• Conduct gap/fit analysis across multiple legacy systems against new system and report development strategies for financial and operational reports.
• Configure systems, perform data migration, oversee the implementation of workflow processes, assist with user access and permissions, and perform ongoing troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot open application tickets, including defect reporting and resolution, and provide customer service to business during hyper-care.
• Prepare deliverables, including process flows and scripts, key internal controls, test plans, functional specifications for reports, interfaces and conversions and end-user education materials.
• Author reports utilizing PowerBI and other report development tools.
• Partner with other Business Systems Analysts on the integration of D365 with Job Cost with Human Resources, Payroll, General Ledger and other applications.
• Drive adoption of the D365 software by providing personal, on-site training and support to Management, Finance and Administrative staff.
• Build the capabilities of end-users to access and use the data in a rigorous manner that is foundational to sound decision-making and ongoing reporting accuracy. Develop materials and provide training that establishes the required initial user acumen and can be leveraged for ongoing educational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, supply chain, finance, or business
• 5-year experience in developing and maintaining financial reporting systems and processes with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 F&O 
• 2 years of experience documenting functional requirements, current state/future state flows, and design specifications for system implementation.
