Assoc. Professor - History jobs in Middlesex, NJ

Hillel Yeshiva HS is currently seeking a part-time History instructor for the 2023-24 school year.  Successful candidates will have completed at minimum a Bachelor's level degree in History or related field; experience teaching at the secondary classroom level and/or college level is preferred, but not required.  Our History department offers three required years of core History courses, as well as several senior-level electives.  Instructors have the opportunity to teach different levels of core courses, including our AP-level History offerings.  Close reading of original texts, dynamic integration of current events and global topics, as well as intensive writing practice are key features of our program.

Requirements:  History or related major; Master's Degree preferred, but not required; commitment to continuous learning; aptitude and capacity for establishing and maintaining an engaging and focused classroom environment.
