Professor - Dentistry provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Dentistry typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Job Summary:
Rothermel Family Dentistry is looking to add a full-time Dental Assistant to our staff. EDDA Certification and previous experience strongly preferred but not required. Our assistants must be able to multitask and have initiative when it comes to assisting in the office.
Job Overview:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records
