We are looking to add a Full-Time Dental Assistant to our team here at Schererville Family Dentistry to help us continue our tradition of providing the highest quality patient care available.

Dr. Alavanja and Pieters and the team are committed to the health of our patients and to making the experience of going to the dentist a positive one for everyone we serve.

Schererville Family Dentistry operates on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 AM - 8 PM, Wednesday from 8 AM - 4 PM, and every other Friday 8 AM - 2 PM.

As a Dental Assistant, you will:

• 
  Support the dentist and other members of the dental staff in the performance of quality, caring, and clinical dentistry
• Aide during examinations and treatment
• Perform clinical and technical procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist/hygienist
• Prepare the operatory and equipment
• Maintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of the patients
• Possess a valid X-ray certificate CPR & First Aid certificate
