Assoc. Professor - Accounting jobs in Idaho

LC State invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Accounting with a start date of August 2024.

Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $73,000 - $75,000

Degree Required: MBA with Accounting Emphasis or Master's in Accounting from a regionally accredited college or university

Required Qualifications:

• Professional Certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• College teaching experience
• Quality online instructional experience
• Collegiality within a team environment
• Ability to work independently
• Perform effectively under pressure and with deadlines
• Experience utilizing technology
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and written verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities are teaching accounting-related courses. This position is responsible for teaching a 12-hour course load per semester, advising students, program development, outcomes assessment, scholarly activities, and service to the division and college.

Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support the recruitment and retention of students.
