Preference will be given for candidates with a related professional certification such as a CPA or CMA, and/or a graduate degree in a related field (Master’s, Ph.D, D.B.A. or ABD). Applicants holding a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of work/consulting and other professional experience in the areas of financial management, accounting and statistics will also be considered. Strong applicants from all fields will be considered, although preference will be given to candidates whose qualifications support successfully teaching financial management, accounting, and statistics courses. Upon hire, candidates are invited to participate in proposing curriculum, program modifications and teach courses in accordance with program needs. We seek candidates who demonstrate professional excellence and effectiveness in training/teaching and mentoring, with a commitment to creating equitable experiences for underrepresented communities. The Center for Learning and Teaching team and department colleagues provide mentorship and professional development for instructional strategies and technologies in residential (primary teaching modality), hybrid and online courses.
