The Phlebotomy Technician will be responsible for:

• Collecting blood samples following established procedures, ensuring minimal patient discomfort.
• Correctly labeling all blood samples according to guidelines and protocols.
• Properly storing and transporting collected samples to the laboratory for analysis.
• Verifying patient information and maintaining detailed records of collected samples.
• Conducting initial processing and testing of collected samples, when required.
• Ensuring a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace that aligns with our hygiene standards.
• Adhering to set safety standards and taking essential precautions for both patient and staff well-being.
• Ensuring the punctual fixture of tools, machines, and equipment for the collection process.
• Reporting any concerns, complications, or patient issues immediately to attending physicians or supervisors.
• Consistently following all regulations and guidelines relating to patient confidentiality, data protection, and ethics of conduct.

We’re looking for candidates with:

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• A valid certification from an accredited Phlebotomy Technician Program.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, medical terminologies, and specimen processing.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and patient-focused approach.
• Reliable attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to abide by all federal and state health and safety regulations.
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
