Assisted Living Program Administrator jobs in Texas

The ideal candidate is a CNA or long-term, experienced caregiver familiar with assisted living regulations. Experience working with those with memory care needs is a definite plus.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining staff schedules under the supervision of the Director of Wellness
• Coordinating coverage for call-outs and monitoring overtime rates
• Assisting with move ins, making residents feel at home
• Training new personal care specialists (caregivers) and assisting with orientation
• Monitors resident personal care supplies and notifies families when more are needed
• Measures weights and vital signs of residents
• Assists with coverage for staff call-outs
• Helps maintain patient charts, orders, and service plans
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• CNA license preferred
• 2-3 years working in a residential, geriatric setting preferred
• Ability to use Word/Excel and communicate effectively in English
