Job Summary: Lead, manage, and coordinate daily operations of Case Management department in collaboration with the Manager/Director. Assists with daily staffing and department assignments, schedules, and PTO requests. Assists with managing complex cases, long stay patient needs with manager/director assistance. Serves as backup in absence of department manager/director. Serves in ED staffing 75% of the time. Assists with Cares Culture with department staff as appropriate.
Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in NC (NC license or multi-state {compact} license). Minimum of 10 years clinical experience required and BSN is preferred. Case Management or Care Navigation experience required. Demonstrated leadership skills, effective communication skills, ability to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals, and families. Ability to manage, coach, and motivate staff with positive interactions and results. Certification preferred.
