Assistant Treasurer assists in the direction and management of an organization's treasury activities. Oversees and directs all aspects of daily treasury activities. Being an Assistant Treasurer ensures financial transactions, policies, and procedures fulfill the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Assists with the corporate banking, credit, and investment functions. Additionally, Assistant Treasurer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Assistant Treasurer manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Assistant Treasurer typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. - Cashiering to collect Mobile Home and Real Estate taxes
- Process Mobile Home Certifications for mobile home owners
- Complete Mobile Home Redemption reports in coordination with the County Clerk’s Office
- File and Notate Returned Certified Mail
- Other duties as assigned
Essential functions for Office Clerk
- High school diploma or equivalent
- In office/person punctual attendance is required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with coworkers, outside departments, and public
- Ability to meet deadlines as assigned
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Must live in St. Clair County
Preferred qualifications for Office Clerk
- Previous cashiering and/or Bookkeeping experience
- Some college having a background in the areas of math or accounting
- Proficient computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to speak Spanish
