Position Summary:
The Arkansas State University (A-State) Assistant Director of Student Conduct manages day to day student conduct cases and adjudicates cases in a fair and consistent manner. The Assistant Director of Student Conduct is responsible for facilitating dialogue that helps students reflect on their past behaviors and build skills to help them be successful in the future. This position manages on and off campus cases in accordance with the Standards of Student Conduct. The Assistant Director of Student Conduct will also serve as a liaison to campus partners and assist with training and outreach efforts. They will also perform critical administrative functions.

Preferred Qualifications:
- An earned Master's Degree
- Experience with personal computers using Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Banner and Maxient SoftwareKnowledge/Skills/Ability:Proven ability in assisting students in ethical decision-making and reflection on behavior, values, and community membership.
Familiarity with student development theory, higher education law for Student Affairs, and emerging/relevant issues regarding student conduct.
Ability to prioritize and work autonomously in a higher traffic environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work with diverse populations.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Bachelor’s Degree in student affairs administration or a related field required.
Two (2) years of experience (including graduate work) in student conduct, residence life, or related area.
