Assistant Student Activities Director jobs in Bartlesville, OK

Activity Director is in charge of all activities daily, outings for residents, all interaction with residents with activities. Also needs to be familiar with computers. This position is a Monday - Friday some weekends if an activity is planned.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Initiate and promote activities both within and outside the institution to stimulate and promote resident interest and general well being.
• Encourage social communication among residents through group activities, recreation and one-on-one activities.
• Plan trips (shopping, scenic, other) and arrange for transportation and supervision.
• Encourage intellectual and educational development through literature, lectures, movies, cultural events and other activities available in the community.
• Comply with safety regulations and policies. Knowledge of federal and state guidelines.

Desired Experience and Education

• One (1) or more years experience in a skilled nursing environment strongly preferred.
